My friend Laurie from World Traveling Military Family recently introduced me to Scavenger Hunt Adventures, a Kid’s Book Series for the traveling family. Scavenger Hunt Adventures is a family-owned, family-operated enterprise and the author, Catherine, offered to send me a copy of MISSION Rome to check out for myself. These sound like great books for children to learn about other countries, states and cultures. Sounds like a gift I would happily give!

I totally agree! It’s not just a busy activity to keep them quiet, it will engage and educate them as well.
My kids are still young for these, but I *love* that they exist! What a great way to get kids interested and excited about exploring new cities. I know I would have loved these when I was a child bored, wandering around on vacations with my parents.
I would have loved these as a kid too. My son is almost four and he’s just getting to the age where these books will be really fun on our upcoming trips.

Whoo hoo! Fun books that take some of the burden off me. I’m telling ya, my kids are always asking me about other places and I don’t have a clue…I’m always googling some place because “I don’t know” doesn’t fly with my kids so well ;)
I know, I never do enough research before going to a new city and I always feel like I should have… These books are nice because they have all the info that will be interesting for parents as well.
Wow! That’s a fantastic read! I wish Scavenger Hunt Adventures was around when my kid was younger. That would have been a cool book to read. Nevertheless I will highly recommend it to my young nephews! :)

These are so cute that I feel like you don’t even need kids to enjoy them :) Although I’m sure kids would love it and it’s a great way of making them a part of your trip and giving them some ownership of it.

Hahaha this would be a great idea for my imaginary kids! But seriously, these remind me of some workbooks that we used to have in class to help problem-solving abilities haha. I wish my current work was just as fun and easy ;)
